September 2016

The project held its 1/2 year meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania. The group discussed status of the ongoing work in the project, as well as planned the following steps.
The group also had the chance to visit a lithuanian company preparing custom made shoes based on the 3D scanning. The company Orthobalthic showed the participants how scanning allows the best fit shoes, which is extremely important, especially for people with special needs in terms of foot wear. The group also visited the company Elina, which actually prepares 3D scanners and gave some insight on the development of custom-made clothing in the future.
