The certification is internationally acknowledged for great employee experience and building a good workplace. This certificate is valid one year after the admitting.

- This certificate is proof of our whole organization’s efforts to develop our workplace. I’m extremely happy it worked, says the CEO and rector of Centria UAS Kari Ristimäki.

People are Centria’s most valued resource. Centria believes in a caring atmosphere that is based on knowledge and trust. This is why our personnel evaluated their workplace so highly.

- According to the strategy, Centria has developed flexible work possibilities as well as has invested in employees’ benefits, preventive workability leading, and wide well-being services. As an indication of these matters, the number of illness absences has reduced significantly within the last two years, tell the HR Manager Jouko Mäki-Korvela.

Amongst the personnel's well-being, Centria has also increased the number of personnel. When Centria participated in the Great Place to Work research for the first time in 2018, we had 295 employees. In 2021 we will have 320 employees, continues Kari Ristimäki.

- The degree objectives have increased. We also have more and more international students. As a result of our developing operations, we have a financial possibility to answer the need for a new workforce. When the Covid-19 pandemic eventually ends, Finland and Centria’s operation area will be lifted with the know-how. We want to do our part to help the recovery.
